Garry Toor
DDS, MSc, FRCD(C)

Dr. Garry Toor completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Toronto. He then completed a general practice residency at the Health Sciences Center with the University of Manitoba, followed by specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto. He received his Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in 2016. He previously worked out of Hamilton General Hospital and McMaster Children’s Hospital where he was involved in teaching surgical residents. Dr. Toor’s interests are in complex extractions, third molar removal and dental implants particularly immediate function (Tooth in a Day/Teeth in a Day).  

Outside of work, Dr. Toor enjoys playing and coaching hockey. He previously played in the Western Hockey League as well as professional hockey in Europe. He also enjoys attempting golf and, above all, spending time with his lovely wife chasing after his two young kids on and off the ice!
