Background Information
The specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Drs. Moore, Wong, Mansouri, Sia, Davenport and Rastikerdar manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Drs. Moore, Wong, Mansouri, Sia, Davenport and Rastikerdar practice a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We can also diagnose and treat facial injuries and fractures.
The nursing staff is trained in assisting with intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting.
Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at Newmarket Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery are experienced, certified dental assistants. Those who assist with administration of IV sedation and general anesthesia are registered nurses (RN) with years of experience. All staff are certified in CPR.
